Personal missions

I only discovered by accident that your squadies apparently each have a "personal mission" they can accomplish and you get cash for that. For example, Raven's is to kill two enemies in a single turn. How do you find out what each merc's "personal mission" is?

It's random. Some maps have none, some maps have one, I have never seen more than two. Some of them are easy and you can do without trying some are completely ridiculous.

This, on a map with animals, btw, where you cannot target their, uh, groin area.
Funny, but indeed pretty damn random.

Just to mention it, they are worth trying since the merc will get +1 to a stat, related to the type of goal I think.

Also I love the in-game explanation (basically random BS someone at A.I.M cooks up 'cause it would look awesome on the merc's Bio)
