Glory Kills?
What are they? Looking through stats and my custom Ninja Merc has one, but I can't figure out which one it was. Most of his kills were stealth. He had a couple of "loud" kills when a patrol surprised him as he was sneaking up on what was intended to be a stealth kill.

But other mercs had loud kills and they don't have a point under the Glory Kill stat.

And since I know some degenerate is gonna say it, no...it's not a kill through a hole in a wall. At least...I hope not.

Pretty sure it's the "shot his head clean off" type kills. Gory Kills, but with a typo.

The typo is theirs, not mine. Definitely says "Glory".

I dont recall an especially gory kill but maybe I literally blinked and missed it?

Just checked the statistic and my I.M.P. merc has 36 "Glory Kills" so far ... still no clue what they do ... maybe they increase morale for a while?

I'm really sure what they are either. It seems like one shot kills, crits, and maybe when an attack does a lot of over damage. Would be nice to figure out exactly what it is lol

Before I attacked the Mansion, Kalyna had "2 Glory Kills" afterwards, she had 4, and there were two shots she made that took a guy's head off in that battle.

And yes, I think it's a typo on behalf of the game designer, but maybe they wanted it that way.

it's not a typo, it's just another way to describe an over the top impressive kill aka glorious kill

There's a sort of percussion sting that happens when one occurs, I'm pretty sure - it's accompanied by the Good Kill morale event (though there are Good Kills that are not glory kills).

theyll be adding an award ceremony in the next patch. with the red carpet, paparazzy and prime time live tv coverage, of how cool that merc did.
imagine the amount of new players, prizing this game, this will drag in.
