That said, what a strange reason not to buy this game ... it's awesome, no game will have each and every pet feature somebody wants ...
bobby ray's is a bit silly and he probably does not deliver by boat
This is kinda stupid and takes away from the management sim experience.
Have 2 or 3 squads at the start, buy your gear and fight a war from the get go as enemy will be numerous, a legitimate post coup force, insurgency etc. More Wild Geese/Dogs of war than duct tape to keep a few pistols operational slowly progressing. Still plenty of ways to offer challenges. Being overall heavily outnumbered, securing new bases and supply routes both to those bases and into the area of operation from abroad, agressive counter attacks, best enemy forces kept near their critical targets etc. JA2 came closest having to hold the airport, take the towns etc, but the series seems intent on remaining relatively small scale.
I understand that, they made a solid MVP and I guess the game quite made it and will be worked on it further now.
The buying is not even basic, it was just made like trigger item, kinda work around.
I guess we will see some change to it in fist major update.
Then after E9 and defeating zerg of elite army troops all your squads will be OP terminators equipped with top machine guns, sniper rifles, mortars, RPGs and top kevlar/heavy armor.
No, bro, you must suffer :D
I get people might be bad at games, but you are literally showered in loot and ammunition from the get go.
Before leaving the tutorial island you are given more rifles and AK's than you know what to do with, along with a smattering of modern AR's and SMG's.
You can even craft hundreds of rounds in the tutorial village.
The only way you are running out of ammo is with terrible play or getting your entire squad to use the same ammo type.
Bruh....you just don't understand what people asking for.
I don't want to use AK, rifles, pistols or SMGs. I want ability to buy Steyr Aug, HK, M4A1, Arctic Warfare Magnum etc. You don't get it? Now I have almost 1.5m$ but I cannot buy WHAT I WANT and WHAT I CAN AFFORD! As as person who can hire best mercs in the world I must have access to the top weapons dealers! Where ♥♥♥♥ in the world did you see mercs team starting their operations with literally naked ass and pistols only looting locals for AKs?!
Jeeeeeeeeez...............
