Missing a knife attack on a sneak kill....
Is the dumbest thing I have seen in this game so far

Please fix that, it's hard enough to sneak kill with melee in this game with no pause and save scumming.

Also make it so you can move dead bodies....

This game is so broken with sneak killing.

You can sneak up behind someone and stand behidn him and your guy just refused to carry out that attack while standing there for 2 seconds and then gets spotted....

Also when you successfully sneak kill someone with another goon nearby with his back to you but he instantly "sees someone die" like he has eyes in the back of his head....

It's broken and unrealistic and not even gamey

I wish they fleshed out the sneaking system way more, its my biggest complaint in this game.

Save scumming for the 15th time just to sneak kill 1 guy.

And now I Just got a sneak attack off in the neck for 29 dmg that did not kill them.... sigh

Now they are seeing me stealth knife kill a guy through a wall.....

I wish I was recording this to show just how BAD it was

Works for me with Igor, he is good at sneaking. I get almost all sneak knife kills with him and I play on ironman and no saving during combat, no way to reload for me. I think it still makes sound so depending on how close the other enemy was that spotted you after the kill, maybe it was too close and he heard you kill him. It's not 100% silent I think.

Sorry but it all a skill issues. Why do you use melee weapons with someone who has low stats?
Why do you use just one character and not whole squad? So what if second enemy spotted you. Just kill him with another character before round ends.
Why dont you use silenced weapons? Just mod your gund for accuracy and add silencers. Kill 1-6 enemies per turn in full stealth. Problem solved.

OIH shut teh ♥♥♥♥ up with your It's a skill issue.

I'm using IVan with 95 Dexterity and he literally walks up behidn someone and then sneak attacks them with a knife and "misses"

I dont have silenced weapons yet.

It's a poorly optimised game mechanic. Go troll somewhere else

So? Hit him again. No one promised you a 100% hit chance. It not like you dont have 5-6 mercs, right? Or why not just shoot him in the head with silenced rifle or pistol?

If you miss the knife attack sneak phase is over and he shoots in the air and starts combat.

Dude go troll somewhere else your comments are not helping at all.

they need to just update the whole sneaking part of the game....

I don't think they intended it to be a huge part of the game but then they should not have added it at all.

Sneak killing with melee combat is incredibly clunky and hard to pull off, and the goons somehow "Spot someone being killed" through walls and stuff.

Missing a knife attack on sneak attack on someone unaware just makes ZERO sense. Especially when the character used has 95 dexterity....

Not everybody wants to just use "op silencers" all the time like this one troll wont stop going on about.

The type who think the game is fine as it is because he has learned how to "game the mechanics" in his own way.

Ghillies would be cool for more stealth too.

Are you using an "expert" for those kills? Some mercs are better at it than others.

Unable to interact with dead bodies is a huge issue and needs to be fixed asap. I mean, I get it, it's not splinter cell, but if the player wants to rambo through the game with 1 merc and a knife, let him...

I used Ivan with 95 dexterity... not an expert but pretty good.

And yes I agree which is why I said earlier...... they didn't mean for this to be a stealth game but since they added the options... it needs to be more polished and fleshed out now.

Pistol to the head is also RNG on the insta-kill, and the damage from 2 tiles away, unaware, to the head... with an improv silencer... was 19.

Igor and Mouse do far better. The benefits of that stealth perk cannot be overstated. WIthout it, dont even try.

Enemies can both hear and see you. I had mouse 3 tiles away in cover, and Meltdown about 7 tiles away also in cover. The enemy facing away the whole time "heard" Meltdown. Nasty gal musta farted.
There is a detection meter on your merc. great... because when Im focusing on the enemy I have to click on to kill, Im watching the meter on my merc, who may also be at the edge of the screen. What would be better is a detection meter on the enemy indicating the level and direction of their caution.

Igor was able to get a stealth kill when I wasnt even trying. On a roof, about 8-10 tiles away in the open. Igor opened a loud burst to the torso and stealth killed the enemy. I was expecting combat to start. NO ONE HEARD IT. Just goes to show you how loud Meltdown's farts really are.

do you use "prepare kill" ?

Because I never missed it so far with Blood, only failed to instantly kill someone
