Smiley Bug

Submitted bug report but I'm at the end of the quest and I can't talk to Father Tooker or Smiley and I've tried blowing up the wall to get to them but they have no interaction buttons and neither does the church for pirate gold quest.

Is there a bug fix for this or a way to reload something?

I dunno, i just reloaded H8, and everything is still working.

How far are you into 'Finding Smiley' quest, it's a very long quest, and did you already get the treasure map for 'Pirate Gold'? Also, When you blew up the wall, which wall? Did you destroy the Pirate Gold?

I'm basically done the quest but I can't talk to Smiley to give the results (I wasn't able to talk to the church before so I just did the entire quest line before talking to him). I blew open the right side wall and I have the pirate map too.

Well I never was able to talk to him in the beginning, that's the problem. I've had the pirate gold quest sitting there forever and could never complete it either. Then i got the Smiley quest from the brothel down the road and started the questline from there.

Well I never was able to talk to him in the beginning, that's the problem. I've had the pirate gold quest sitting there forever and could never complete it either. Then i got the Smiley quest from the brothel down the road and started the questline from there.

Did you do the bit to get the door behind the church opened by the priest?

I think you have to get the priest to admit he is hiding smiley so you can open the door in the back?

Nope, he would never give me a dialogue option (the hand mouseover on him to click).

I think with Pirate Gold, do you know where it is? Can your merc not walk to the spot in the Church, inspect it and just take it?

Not yet, waiting for some mods to get updated first before I go in again.

I just loaded it in and actually it works now and can interact with the pastor and the statue. So looks like something happened this patch that maybe reset it? Just wasn't listed on the patch notes so I didn't know.
