Fix "supressed" or mod it please
The only usefull effect of a flashbang is to make the enemy "tired", loosing AP or even routet but still they have reaction shots which makes absolutly no sense. either he is supressed, unable to react, like it would be intended to use a flashbang or just leave it using flashbangs at all.

it is redicolous having a reaction shot mowing u down with pin point accuracy when the enemy should be blind at least!

flashbang adds tired status that gives -1 AP, also -4 AP because of suppressed. If you don't want them to do a reaction shot there is a perk for that in Wisdom 70 tree. Distracting shot or what even it is called. You can pick it when your mercs get level up. Also few Mercs start with that perk. Buns, Omryn, Wolf.

yea i know, thank you.
but the flashbangs should be the tool to archieve this effect too.
otherwise its not a flashbang like squads use for the purpose of supressing/shock the enemy. the perk is nice to have if you have no explosive skills and cant use the flashbangs accuratly.

tear gas doesnt do the trick either.
in buildings or underground i need to push into rooms to take new position while get myself flanked. using tear gas there blocks my plan of pushing forward. Flashbangs are exactly for that reason...tear gas / mustard has its use in some other situations. at least in reality...

Don't think i have ever used flashbang to clear rooms, enemy seems to always run out, and for those who don't, i use melee to CRIT kill them.

Flashbangs are good for Call of Duty, Black Ops Nuketown style, throw a flashbang and rush attack into the enemy spawn area. Game devs seem to have recreated this very well.

Also, not all enemy will shoot back when suppressed. Here you can see the Guards run away, and only the Commando types will shoot back. I think game devs also mentioned somewhere that the enemy don't shoot back during enemy repositioning, unless your guys are above Level 6 or something like that. My guys here are all Level 9/10, so the best counter for my guys is the Lightning Reacton perk.

well sorry to say but i think you dont get my point. So all games recreate the use of flashbangs giving u the possibility doing fancy moves into rooms that are crowded by ready enemys but in jagged allience not. I know there is perks and i know not all shoot back.
the simple situation is i had 3 of my 6 squadmates flanked in a room who do throw molotows and use grenades while in the other direction is the only way out pushing forward before those enemys in the other room i am about to rush come to me aswell in the next turn. so having 3 in the halll outside not able to reach my trapped team without triggering overwatch of the enemys thos 3 squadmates are on thier own for exactly 2 turns.
i cant rush the other side with those grenade dudes because the overwatch of the enemy one i would reach the outside of that room. i have only 1 turn to change the situation and that is supress flashbang the next room and take new position threre and flank the overwatch guys outside after that turn so my other 3 guy can take care of those 3 greade dudes.

Thats a classic pinned down situation and thats why God createt human beeings with brains to develop flashbangs....

This is a game, not real life. In real life you throw in a flashbang, then rush into room to shoot dead the enemy: speed, surprise, violence of action.

In your scenario, your guys are caught in a sticky situation. The enemy already know you are there, you don't need flashbang, ...you need smoke and a better Plan B.

u self say "its a game not real life, it works in real life" and my initial title of this post was "fix or mod" so i am aware its not in the game but it should. pointing on a better plan B which would be actually C because B would be using flashbangs doesnt give anything helpful to this post. but thank you for tryin...
