endless loading screen at Flea town La Boue

[Sekai no Yamada]

i'm now 40 hrs into the game and i can't enter flea town la boue bc i'm stuck on loading.
i checked integrity of the game files and it didn't work.
i'm using 10-ish mods right now. maybe they're the reason?

before i go ahead and try disabling the mods, is there any other soluions?
i'd like to keep the mods if possible. thx for reading.

i just disabled all mods and did the integrity check again. still not working.

which mods were you using and whew did you loaded the game? tactical map or satellite?

Hi. thx for the reply. i tried to enter from both. on satellite and tactical map.

i'm currently using mods listed below:

ShowChanceToHit
Show stealth kill chance
Stealth UI improvements
Tons of guns
Tons of components
Merc inventory size(bigger merc inv)
MaxStacks Tweaks(increase max stacks in inv)
descriptive ammo icons(shows ammo types on icons)
Hourglass reskillmod by estruktix
Evermine(mines never run out)
Legion variety pack(changes how legion soldiers look)
All mercs at start(no offline mercs at the start)
Fidel happy(fidel doesn't deny contract)
all nationalities lib
Korean Localization Mod

i've deleted and reinstalling the game as of now. hope this works.

Edit : sadly reinstalling the game didn't work as well. now i'm really stuck :(

when you get to the map, does the game freezes or the animations keep moving? in the same place, can you move the camera?

nothing like that. it just keeps loading the map and i'm stuck on loading screen. otherwise everything is fine.

hm, you may try to open the game in debug mode and ignore any errors that may appear and if you are lucky enough the save will repair it by itself, any chance you send me you log file? I can try to find where is the problem

can you tell me where the log file is saved?
i ran it on debug mode and it was still not working :/

taking a brief look at the logs I spotted a few things that are very wrong and some that might be not so good.

stop using these two mods:

[mod] Loaded mod def All Mercs at Start (id hmdJXFj, v0.00-009) packed from steam
[mod] Loaded mod def Merc Inventory Size (id Jx6CteX, v1.03-022) packed from steam

both are obsolete and you can use the vanilla settings to have the mercs online, there are alternatives for the second item

sotp using this mod:

these two might be causing problems, but I ain't sure because I never use them:
[mod] Loaded mod def Stealth UI Improvements (id hDunLJF, v2.00-285) packed from steam
[mod] Loaded mod def Misc - Show Equipped Armor (id DdaagXi, v1.30-269) packed from steam


1 - UNSUB the mods I told you, they are obsolete and will break your game.

2 - after unsub restart your game and check in the mod editor if they still there, if so, disable and delete

3 - restart your game with the oldest working load you remember available and see if it works

i lost quiet a lot of progress, but it's way better than starting again.

hopefully it doesn't cause any trouble from now on.

Avoid mods that are not updated or look for alternatives.
