Will we ever get all the mercs from JA2 in the future?
Title says it all.

I wouldn't say no to paying an actual dlc with new content including mercenaries but any mercenaries that were from previous games should be part of a free patch and they shouldn't add paid mercenaries until a majority of original mercs are added.
Why is that all mercs from JA2 SHOULD HAVE been in JA3 from get go? if even a lot of mercs from original JA is not present in JA2?
Those Mercs have been given in universe reasons for not being in. If JA3 had also taken the same path then it'd have been fine but in that case there should have been more new mercenaries instead of the handful of new ones we got. At the very least we could've been given some characters from Arulco like Lt. Conrad Gillett.

I definitely would've liked to see a page similar to the alumni page in JA2 with a little blurb explaining what's going on with all the mercs, especially since all it would've required is a picture and some text.

And if you ever wanted to bring them back for a DLC, future update or whatever, you'd have the picture already.

There are 10 A.I.M mercenaries that are in JA2, but not JA3.
Bull
Buzz
Cliff
Danny
Lynx
Malice
Spider
Static
Stephen
Trevor

There are 6 AIM mercenaries that were not in JA2
Faunda
Kaylana
Livewire
Mouse (was in JA:DG)
Omryn
Tex (was in JA1, JA:DG, & JA2:UB)

The M.E.R.C mercenaries not being usable is directly related to JA3 story. Spoiler: M.E.R.C messes up in Grand Chien prior to A.I.M being brought in.

That said 4 of the 6 new AIM mercenaries are recruits, Faunda has "old dog" perk and Tex's locked revolvers seem to limit him. I think part of problem is "new" mercenaries seem somewhat limited compared to 10 that didn't make the JA3 cut.

Many (or all) of the missing mercs from JA2 would be redundant.
Lynx is equal to Scope. And we still got Raven.
Bull is with Grizzly and Steroid.
Static is similar to Nails and that other shotgunner.
So many doctors are not really needed anyway. This would require higher importance of medical stat before that makes sense.
Trevor always has been a bit too good compared to the rest of the field. But this guy is certainly being missed the most.

I think DLC development should focus on extending the map by 3-4 columns and add to the storyline. Cause we alreay got many good mods which do mercs.

The most important reduction from JA2 to JA3 is the reduction of sectors in my opinion. Also the river dividing the land creates certain limitations, which have negative impact on world map size and exploring. Extending the world map could make the endgame much more exciting. Then you can use mod mercs to play, which already exist.

Many (or all) missing mercs had character. Lynx for example was one of my favorite mercs as opposed to Scope whoI rarely used. As for Raven I also kinda like her and her husband but only when I hired them together.
