Patch 1.5

Any one else's game run like sh!t since the latest patch? Music stuttering, load times increased dramatically. Just trying to work out if it's on my end. Cheers.

With Patch 1.5 there are now two options for me to run the game. The normal JA3 and the debugging mode for mod creators. Since the Patch Update I can only run the game with the debugging mode, because the normal JA3 option just loads infinitely.
When I use the debugging mode it also comes up with a debugging window during the load screen telling me "infinite loading loop detected" and "press ignore will break the loop".
After I do this 3times, the game will load.
Any ideas from what this could come?
After a validation of the files steam told me, that everything is fine.

turning off my microphone in sound settings fixed the music stuttering for me, that was before the update though. got the fix from another thread credit goes to them

I had 6 mods enabled. I left them on after the patch. I disabled them after I got the problem, but the problem remained. So I enabled the mods again so I could at least move on with my current playthrough.

I always felt it was a pity that the Mercs didn't evolve from part 2 to 3. After all, you play with almost the same starting team as in part 2 because they're still so cheap. Will it be easier to change the stats of the vanilla and custom mercs after update 1.5? I would like to have the feeling of a real sequel for the second game.

Working fine here.
Show chance to hit, Evermine, merc editor and cheat menu still work that's all I need.
