Question: Does modding make you not get achievements?
I am running through the game totally vanilla now, and plan to mod for my next run, but I'd love to use a mod like this. A mod that doesn't change any gameplay, just visuals.

I don´t want to ♥♥♥♥ on your parade. The AI generated Mercs sure do look impressive. But while the original artists nailed the ethnic facial markers the AI just doesn´t understand it. Maybe you can tell the AI where these Mercs come from.
Fauda for example looks like a mix of American/Italian and Buns lost her Danish mouth lines. The original has the Danish facial features that is usually a mix of Polish/Ukrainian features.

But overall it´s very impressive.

the modded versions look like blueprints for the actuall ingame versions with a more comic look to fit in the overall game look and feel.
