crowbar and locksmith availability

so ye, by the time I got to the Fleamarket, I had 4 locksmiths and 3 crowbars. Unfortunately, I never found them again and now I can't access a lot of loot. Is there anything I can do? Any mods that allow repairing?

I had the same problem with locksmiths. In the beginning, there were many of them, all of them not fitting into inventory, so I was stupid enough to scrap them. Now there are none. You can hire Vicky - she has a unique lockpicking tool that can be repaired.

ye i'm at a place with a crate that can only be opened with a crowbar, interested in what's inside and cbf waiting to come back later if I find a crowbar eventually but forget about it. at least in JA2 you could attempt to bash things... guess i'll move on and leave it.

I am swimming in crowbars but had not much luck with lockpick sets lately. On my last few % with the last one. Pretty Endgame too now, so maybe I should switch from Livewire to Vicky now in my main Team.

I'd never drop Livewire, her talent is too good.

Magic is my end game Mechanic. I am swimming in wirecutters. Crowbars I typically don't use because I use lock picks first. I actually ran out just before switching over to Magic from Livewire but he comes with a set.

Yeah, I dont like the thought either, as she paid off from day one...but not picking locks anymore is also not an option.

If you've left them lying around, on the sat map down the bottom left select sector stash. Briefcase icons will show on sectors, click til you find where you left them and go and pick them up.

Someone wrote, no idea if true, later in game you come to an inventor who can craft a special crowbar which you can repair, before he will craft lot of other things and you need the crowbar in the firstplace

Imo such mundane stuff should be really easily available, even in the poorest 3rd world country you can find metal bars and picks...

Now I'm in the far southeast and still got only 3 crowbars and 1 locksmith's kit with 3 squads and I can't finish a quest because I can't open all doors. This is really something.

Well at least you can break those doors by firing on them.

This is so f u c k e d up. I'm almost finished and I haven't found one locksmith or crowbar. I've scoured every location for loot and nothing. But I have 3 wire-cutters!
