where or how exactly get the M82 sniper rifle? 90% of the game completed. no drop.

How or where to get the M82 sniper rifle? I cleared nearly the whole map, and can only go now to the endboss and finish the game... without ever tried out the best sniper rifle in game.

all the guides on google did not help me to get the rifle. where exactly you can get it? or is it completely random and luck based, and you can have a whole run without that gun like me? maybe they should patch the dropchance when it is like that? cause it suxx. don't want to play again just cause a bad drop chance.

one guy said on google you can get it in the first bunker mission, where you have to go down and fight the one women. but I read that to late. he said you have to reload savegame as often as you can after the fight, until you find the M82 there. is that right?

where I can get the weapon? or how?

Aside from some named NPC items and quest rewards, all drops seem to be RNG.

i also had just last boss left and haven't found it. I have pretty much found every single other weapon like AK-74s, G36s etc. The chest in the last boss bunker that the guides are mentioning is no different than plenty of "high level" chest everywhere else.
Maybe you have to have level 10 merc for the loot table to "update", i don't know

get me a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Bobby Ray's, you can hire and transport mercenaries literally from all over the world, but you can't order guns and ammo???
restrict the purchases by level or some story milestones, but this RNG fest does not make sense

funny. I did all of the stuff. and never saw it. 3 times the best auto shotgun with the round mag, but no M82... it's a joke. should be possible to play the game with it I think.

Pretty early, before saving Biff. I'm sure you can go there just from start and after some S/L attempt get M82, or HK21.

Later in the game, there are weapons shipments instead of usual diamond shipments. I got M82 from one of them, they started to appear a few weeks before... the distress call from A8. "My" weapon shipment originated either in Diamond Red Mine (A2) or nearby port (B2). But they probably appeared only because I progressed through the game the "wrong" way - instead of liberating the refugee camp and Pantagruel, I went east towards Cacao, Fort Brigand (K16) etc. In fact, I had to rush north towards A8 to make it there in time, so I missed most refugee camp and Pantagruel quests. Afterwards, I already had 80% loyalty in Pantagruel and the commie leader just handed me control of the city.

According to this guide, M82 frequently drops in one of the end game bunkers, but it didn't in my case (I made only 1 playthrough so far).

yea, it's random. one time i found it at landsbach, one of the t4 crates.
another time found 2 in the cave right under the major's nest

It's RNG, you can get a weapon as well but only gunpowder and parts are guaranteed, as well as ammo, but the amount of ammo is randomized.

Weapon shipments are rng too and they don't supersede diamond shipments, weapon shipment is just a very rare event, but happens in any time of gameplay.

160 hours in, I've seen it twice in six playthroughs.

I could mod it in on my starting Merc if I wanted to but that would ruin the fun of actually finding it in the wild.

Plus I've modded in a ton of guns in already so the M82 takes a backseat to what I want to see appear - but ya, it's RNG when you look at the possible drops in the code.
