flak armor vs flak vest

Maybe because of possibility to use ceramic plates? Camo vest cannot be upgraded with them

Vests do not protect the arms.

All "vest" variants lack arm protection - i.e. Kevlar vest and Heavy Vest - they only protect the torso.

There are only a couple of considerations with armor.

1) If it has camo or not.

2) If it prevents free move or not.

3) What parts it protects.

You can read the tooltips and see that.

no. when it comes to mid&heavy armor, possibly availability, tho heavy armor with arm protection is buy-able in port cacao every 24-48hours (something like that)

that arm-protection is also a thing for medium + heavy armor. no downside chosing arm protection above non-arm protection.
