Some quotes from the Spike (Major) during combat (if you recruit him) are actually quite fun, for example when you fight his Legion thugs he says like: "well, look at those clowns! they can't kill anyone, even if we will stand up and show them.", or if you kill someone silently he says "Look at this idiot, he never ever seen me, pathetic".

In general , he is really dismissive about enemy effectiveness on the battlefield and likes to cheer female mercs in your squad. Truth to be told he is very strong and effective, probably one of the strongest combatants from all mercs in the game.

If you bring him to Ernie and go talk with Basil, later will start the dismissive rant about the Legion, major will ask him if Basil ever seen how Major looks like, basil will say like: probably the one with funny head and eyes he will instantly recognise, then Spikes summs up and says: "i need to remember that one, so they can place that on the WANTED poster".

On the side note, he also have some special dialogues with Corazon, Jackhammer and some other NPCs in the game.
