List of Easter Eggs *Spoilers*
The game is full of tons of nods and easter eggs relating to 90s culture, and I wanted to mention some of them as some are not that obvious or easy to find.

1, BastIen, who you meet on the first island, is based on the "pretty fly for a white guy" offspring video, where he directly mentions that "I asked for a 13 but they drew a 31" when you ask him about his sports team tshirt. If you look at their clothing, it's pretty much identical.
2, Grizzly is heavily influenced by rambo, despite not exactly looking like rambo (maybe a bit more rambo first blood and early rambo), and this is actually a nod that goes back to original jagged alliance 2, where grizzly came with a bow-tie knife, which was made famous by rambo. Also due to their background you can tell that they have very similar backgrounds.
3, first blood commando and mission impossible difficulties are of course references.
4, Livewire is probably a nod to Limewire, a famous bit torrent client that replaced Kazaa in very early 2000s (like 2004 or so).

Feel free to add some other ones you spotted. And not the obvious ones like difficulty names, obviously.

Larry has a Teddy Bear in his inventory, named Ted. The description says "Ted is dead", a reference to the Pixies song "Ed is dead". Same reference is also present in Fallout 1, btw...

And the fact Larry is often talking to his teddy bear named 'Ted' is probably a reference to the 2012 movie 'Ted'.

Plant in the dump is likely a reference to the movie 'Idiocracy'.

There is a character in Pantagruel mining area called "Anna la mitrailleuse" that is a reference to a famous character among soviet anecdotes on Chapaev and his sidekick - Petja. Translation from french means Anna the Machine gunner and the anecdotic character was called the same in Russian.

There are multiple chairs around that upon the inspection say that "This is a luxury chair - not as clumsy or random as a plastic chair. An elegant peace of furniture from a for a more civilised age" - reference to Star Wars episode 4 where Obi Van is describing a lightsaber comparing it to a blaster

Another thing - Remi the rat is one of the characters in Majors camp - reference to the animated movie "Rattatoule"

Nkt sure if it was mentioned Mannie, the hotel owner next to Pantagruel, repears the Chich minolog from Dusk till Dawn with "♥♥♥♥♥" replaced by "bear". I find it hillarious.

A few of them I've noticed only on the second playthrough:

Ravens AIM username is "nevermore" - reference to novel from Edgar Allen Poe. She also has a raven tattooed to her right forearm.
"The Smell.. The smell never changes." (while inspecting a toilet) - Fallout reference?
Grilled Bears Survival Guide, increases wisdom - Reference to Bear Grylls, survival expert on TV. This is hilarious because watching the show has actually the opposite effect.
During N-night, some granny yells: "and I will kill every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ last one of you!" - reference to Honey Bunny in Pulp Fiction.

'The Raven' isn't a novel - its a poem.

Probably be shorter to list dialog and character designs that don't contain some sort of pop culture reference.

Tex may have been a reference to a character called Kenchi Smith, american ninja, a asian man dressed in cowboy clothes with two revolvers, who was in a japanese power rangers episode from 1995.

Unlikely. Tex was in the first Jagged Alliance which came out in 1994. Interestingly he's been massively buffed since then.

In Twin Manors if Tex is in your squad when you examine the bodies on stage he will remark that the girl "died just like Brandon Lee" referencing Bruce Lee's son who died filming The Crow when an improperly maintained prop gun fired a lodged round killing him

Livewire is probably more of a reference to AC/DC - Live Wire then to Limewire

Schliemann the chicken is named after german archeologist and irl treasure hunter Heinrich Schliemann

LOTS of mercs are, just as they were in the first two entries, references to Action Movie Protagonists/Actors like:
- Schwarzenegger
- Stalone
- Glover
- Van Damme
- Seagal
Or even sneaky references to single movies of them, like Shadow, who was inspired by the MYRIAD of action movie posters showing a fully body-camoed soldier with merely any other content on the poster

Some of the references kind of got lost from JA2 to JA3 though, like the Seagal reference Reaper, looks WAY less like Seagal in JA3 then he did in JA2

Fidels line "Shhh, be very quiet. I kill now!" is basically a combination of Elmer Fudds "be very very quiet! I'm hunting rabbits." and Ahmed the dead terrorists "Silence! I kill you!"

God there's so much in this game.

I refuse to believe that Reaper isn't inspired by John Wick.

Lucky Vinny is obviously a parody of Indian Jones, and his pet chicken Schliemann is named after the dude who claimed to have found the mythical city of Troy (and destroyed who knows how many thousands of artifacts in the process.)
