In my opinion, this topic becomes much more important now that there is bobby ray's in the game. I hope the devs will respond.
Meanwhile, I found a way to sort the sector stash. To be honest, its an aweful and nasty procedure but AFAIK its the only method to sort it:
- Go into the sector inventory (shortcut: i)
- Put an item into the inventory of a merc.
- refresh the sector inventory.
- Right click the item and drop it into the sector stash.
The droped item is placed at the end of the sector inventory.
Example: you want to have all you guns in one place.
Put as much guns into you merc inv as possible. Lets say the guns are now in your alpha squad.
Then refresh the the sector inventory by chossing a different squad like bravo and than go back to the alpha squad (upper left corner). The gaps in the stash are closed now.
Drop all the weapons to the sector stash.
Pick the next group of guns. Refresh the inventory. And repeat that process.
You going to have all you guns at the end of the inventory in the order you droped them.
Sorry for the broken english. Please, blame the g**gle translator <3
