Wetlands Sector H15: Lenore Quest

How the heck do you solve this? I thought it was maybe about reading the poem in order, with one merc or in a timeframe, but I've scoured the entire sector up and down several times and tried just about every combination I could think of - but there's only four interactable things after having shot all the crocodiles crawling around in the sector, and I'm at a loss where to go (but still want to clear up my bloody questlog)
