Quest The beast

Any idea how to finish this?
I know the grandma is the beast. In the conversation I chose open fire.
She run into the house and become friendly again. So I give up and go away.

Anyone get anything special for killing grandma?

This grand ma is really something. When I attack the mine nearby. She appeared to help and nail quite a few kills while running ahead.

However I cannot recruit her.
Anyone managed to recruit her?

You managed to make her alive during the mine attack is something.
At my scenario, shes completely surrounded and killed off by a rocket.
Only managed to keep her alive after encircling the base to get to her spawn position, while sniped 2 rocketeer at the beach.

I send 2 squad. One squad attack the hill while other attack from beach side. Those rocket guys need to die.

If you go to Ille Morat, and fix and activate the projector, more soldiers will come and she will appear. You kill the soldiers with her alive and she says she'll consider joining your crew. However, you need to get 60% reputation with Ille Morat and I don't know how to do that. Taking the area only gave me around 30%. I think you just have to sit in town and wait for it to get attacked, and each time you do, you get like, a 5% boost in loyalty when you defend the town. Dunno if there are better ways to increase loyalty around Ille Morat.

Only other dude you can talk to is Wlad, a mad scientist in the camp. You can pay him parts for him to make you random things, but he doesn't increase loyalty.

Yeah its easy to get rep in this area cause its the only area the top raid parties attack first every time

There are 7 repairable effigies around town giving 5% loyalty each and 4 firefights giving 5% and another 5% from eating cookies. That's 60% just from exploring in addition to at least 15% you get from taking outpost/town/mine

Wlad is her husband and gives us a plasma crowbar

You can also talk to her in her hut in C14 where she will treat you to pies and give you a magazine

I cannot found The Beast in C14 after talk to her in Morat. I talked to her in C14 before going to Morat. Loyality in Morat is 100%. But her hut in C14 is closed and nobody in the sector. However there is a note that "Now you can persuade The Beast to join you" when my squad enters C14. Nonsense.

I outright killed her in her hut, figured that was the best approach, maybe I shouldn't have if she is recruitable

Initially I though she is the bad guy. Until I saw her fighting for us. She appeared in many battles around this town and behave like a boss.

Darn, oh well, guess I blew that one. I assumed she was some kind of villain killing townspeople

Or may be she is not recruitable, but it's more like a passive thing: she just randomly appears as an ally.

beware the beast is bugged..if you don't finish the quest with her ..and you come later again after the plot twist she will be exactly were she was when you left her...complete in the open with many enemies...she has empty hands but holds a gun...it is almost impossible to save then

Once you manage to repair most of the broken effigies (7 of them) and have a chat with her, with a decent percentage of loyalty in town (60%)...she'll join you, but cannot be recruited physically in your squad roster directly.

She'll show up in battle with you like a "fairy godmother" in random sectors that surround the area, but she supports as a non-playable NPC. Unfortunately, sometimes she shows up in the other end of a sector where all the bad guys will corner her. So her support could be short-lived. Strategically protect her and fight the sectors with caution!
