Save vs Sell (SPOILERS)

I confess, I suffer from fomo. I'm afraid to turn items in for cash, in case it's needed for something else.

I was a bit horrified to find out that those artifacts had a purpose other than selling. Same thing with tiny diamonds, turned in several before meeting Lalee. But by then I did learn my lesson, and saved every bag of Chien francs I found (although I'm not sure we can get rid of them if we tried.)

So, spoilers be damned, are there other items that can be turned in for cash that we may need for something? Chipped sapphires come to mind. Are there further uses for tiny diamonds beyond Lalee, or possibly the Fleatown pastor?

Tiny diamonds have a lot of uses (loot box trading, minor bribes, selling at 700 to the pastor, etc.), but diamond briefcases and minor gems seem to be solely for cash; I keep expecting to find a place for big diamonds, but haven't yet.

There seems to be a running joke where you ask various store owners if they accept franks and they keep declining; you can get a lot of bags as quest rewards that add up, so I assume there's somewhere in the game where you can finally turn them in.

All museum items have a unique tag saying they're part of the country's history.

Pro tip: When a mer's contract is up and you see the cash out button in the middle, it sells all the syllables you have in your inventory...

The bags of franks are used as currency in port cacao with the fisherman, basically a shop but instead of actual money he wants bags of franks. I can't remember what he sells though.
And that's the only place so far that I've found where you can actually use those bags.

I had no idea what im supposed to do with it, but im guessing its an item for a quest plot or something.

Ive found some other vendors out in the middle of no where, like those squares on the sat map that has no icons, that you can go into the tactical view for and bam theres a random ass vendor there selling a bronze mask for the bags of money.

Wasn't that bad... Just a bit short range, and non-modable! Great early game damage output, on par with AA12. Still not as good as the Auto-5 I had by then, that thing is an early game beast...

Just in case anyone else reads this, the shotgun is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing. It deletes people. It's better than the AA12, not sure why people are saying it's worse.

So I just finished the game and unless I missed anything, there's no other places where you can spend your bags of money.
Same with the tiny diamonds, only used them for the guy with the lootboxes and father Tooker,

Ahh, ok. I accidentally killed all of them so I even missed out on flay(?) as a free merc.

Yup. They also become hostile if you bring Flay back. I think if you have a Psycho with you, you get an option for the poachers to have a spine and do something else, but I didn't bring one.

Anywho, at the junk shop it will give you: A wig (For getting a unique shotgun at the docks), one 'shop' bench that randomizes between the three weapon mod items (Chip, lens, steel pipe). Restocks. You can save scum to get what you want.

The other one seems to give you some kinds of grenades, but so far all I've seen is mustard gas grenade and smoke grenades.
