but i dont think its worth bothering. ja2 had similar thing with one town, it needed something done, before loyalty goes further.
kill enemies around town. militia combat victories. maybe you should have not taken the fort, as it sends squads to fight. killing animals, if they are random encounters, by going around and peeking in tactical.
It's not like the diamonds aren't being mined if loyalty is low - just that a much larger share "disappears" on the way to you.
Only starts to count once you capture it though.
So, how many days until Mfumu's mine runs dry? Was what I wanted to ask, but then I just Googled, and the answer is 25. So that'd be 21 days of 100% loyalty output if I do the tiny diamond deal 41 more times, assuming there's no limit. And then I get 5% more for dealing with the Never Spotted Hyenas in the next sector.
My team is down south to intercept a weapon transport, so I'm pretty sure they don't have time to spend on Boss Blaubert's quest any time soon. Or even travel to Rimville, wherever it is. Might have time to train militia once, but four measly recruits wouldn't last, and the team has another weapon transport to intercept, so they wouldn't be able to hang around to defend anyone.
But in the village of Ernie training a militia gave 15% loyalty, so that'd save $1500... wait, that's about what training a militia costs. Better to spend that time training more Marksmanship.
Edit: Turned out there was a limit, and it's three deals, for +6%. Oh well! 🙄
