At what point is it worth it to have a merc dual-wield?
Fox's Marksmanship is currently at 71, and so far my attempts at letting her dual-wield are a joke.

Literally never, not even Fox at maxed out stats (AGI/DEX/MM) can make it work

Fox has ability "run and fire", I'm trying to use it with dual-wield and two uzi. So far I like it, but I have no idea if it's efficient or worth it. Just kind of fun.

It might not be useful, but it is as 80s as possible :D

Well .. You could install the show CTH breakdown mod and see if the dual wield penalty is a flat number or if it depends on weapon parameter or other factors .. And how much the ambidextrous trait alleviates the penalty ...
Or you you could play 1000 + hours and never know for certain :) Your choice !

The penalty for me using Fox and 2 Anacondas was 15%. So surely worth it vs just a single 1h weapon...and I have a ♥♥♥♥ ton of .44 ammo. Going to try dual wielding Uzi's next. Hard to find chips to get them fully modded though.
I don't know? if it's worth it, I just feel like I should be doing it with Fox because she's built to do it. The two abilities for pistols and SMGs are good, but with uzi's...I didn't really see the point. Because the special maneuvers only have them shooting from their right hand, and guns like uzi's already have burst/autofire. With overwatch they will fire both guns at the same time though.

Though it isn't...hmm...Optimized? It can be *fun* to do this. Since Fox is a scoundrel, you can have her run and gun with the SMGs, then swap to pistols for free and then get MORE movement + shooting to move pretty far.

My main with 2 peacemakers are having some success in close quarters (MRK 80).
Not gona say its better than any other option thought. :)

Dual revolvers and dual uzis are very satisfying and effective. Dual Glocks might be a bit over the top :steammocking:

Its a bit disappointing, really. I got Vicki with two Beretta's, fully modded for that sweet +7 damage and +15% crit chance... And even at 93 marksmanship, she still misses the second shot constantly. Not really worth it, I think. Looks cool though.

Vicki with two modded automatic glock is devastating at close quarters .
