This has easily been my favorite fight so far. The game has been starting to feel a bit too easy in the middle part, maybe because I've been mostly taking it slow and methodically advancing, really looking forward \ hoping there are more and more tougher enemies like this going further east to really feel like we're putting those modded and heavy weapons to good use : )
What did you all pick for this quest? I fought it out with Siegfried's forces which lead to an all out brawl, especially with some guy from the Night Club moving in to attack at the same time. This is the time when JA really felt like an all out firefight, really particularly loved the layout design of this, standing ground in the mansion then moving out to the machinegun, so good job devs.

what are the consequences of supporting siegfried vs bounce?

not sure, but here's what i did in this quest and what the consequences were (heavy spoilers for this whole quest):
I agreed to find the diesel for Siegfried when I talked to him, he told me about the Night Club so I went to investigate, I didn't have a good merc for fighting in the ring and Steroid is already dead, so I decided to hire Dr. Q with his martial skill for 3 days to give it a go. While I was waiting for him to arrive, I talked to Mole outside of the warehouse and he sold me a tip of where I could find the diesel for $5000, which lead to a few sectors west. Recovered the diesel but along the way things indicated Siegfried was doing something shady, so when I got back to him to return it, decided to kill him. At the same time Bounce and his crew decided to storm the mine area (with I think troops that would have been hostile to me, but they all got taken out by Siegfried's guards). That was helpful in fighting off Siegfried's tough guards, the most dangerous part was at the beginning of the fight when a bunch of close-range specialist guards rushed upstairs and got off a few shotguns. Molotoving the staircase might be a good strategy so you can focus on picking off as many as possible that are rushing towards you through the windows and just hold out in the upper floor then after you take care of nearby guards you can move on to the machinegun and the rest of the area. bounce's guards and siegfried's guards should mostly cancel each other out. After that got control of the mine, but unfortunately seems like night club isn't available anymore after approaching the quest this way, so never got to try out Dr. Q in the nightclub...if you want to do that part of the quest (I guess it is an alternative way to find out where the diesel is besides paying Mole for the info) then do it before fighting Siegfried.
PS: doing the quest this way seems to give a an achivement that only 0.2% of players have, so I guess other choices are way more common?

I completed this quest choosing Siegfried.

Accepted a mission to get back diesel. Went to the club at night. Got a task to defeat two enemies in the ring. Won the first with Steroid easily. Tried to fight the second guy using Steroid ~10 times, lost every time. Tried once with Blood and won in one try. Got info on where you can find diesel and also suggestion to bring diesel to the club first instead of Siegfried. Got diesel, brought it to Siegfried, he and his army left. Fought with club members who got easily demolished mostly by Steroid using the stationary machine gun. Didn't get any achievements but easily got the mine and town (with no more club).

Beat all prizefighters with Igor quite easily. Steroid was surprisingly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ at this.

Oh also, if you do choose to chase down the diesel and fight the thieves:
You get a unique helmet that offers 50% damage reduction, heavy penetration protection, and NO cumbersome quality, which is pretty awesome for mercs you wanna keep free move on. It has the following bullet points for description:
-Breaks VERY often
-Mad to the Max
not sure how easily it actually breaks as it hasn't taken a hit yet and so far hasn't lost durability, hope it's as good as I think it is at protectiong my IMPs noggin. It definitely looks like it's straight out of Mad Max as the description suggests : )

Steroid is so bad and people need to stop hyping him up. Low agility is a death sentence and it doesn't matter how hard you hit. A very high agility/dex character with average strength would dab on Steroid - and Igor is fairly upper class in agility, dex and strength on top of having automatic Grit gain on attacking baked in from hiring him.

Igor *destroys* the fighting ring, it's not even close. Kick them in the balls first to reduce their AP, then punch the arms so they have trouble hitting you, and finally try to hit them in the throat for that delicious Choking bonus. Igor can do this all day.

How did you actually trigger Bounces Attack while you deny Siegfried the Diesel?
I found several clues but still the game says "diesel is still spreading" even if Bounce dies if you rat him and you kill Siegfried + his guys afterwards

No clue to be honest, I did talk to Bounce in the night club and "made a good impression" on him but that was my only interaction in the night club, besides that all I did was chase down the diesel, return it to siegfried and killed him (that's when Bounce also rolled in, conveniently)...I had no idea Bounce was going to be coming out of nowhere and no idea if I did anything to trigger that, I was prepared to fight all the guards in the sector myself, did he not show up for you?

Steroid has high strength but misserable dex and agi, this makes him a bad fist fighter because of his hitchance.

I used Shadow and he obliterated the first opponent and easily beat bone crusher just took a hit or two in bones' only turn. I used some melee ability he has called Brutalize.

I used Livewire to beat em up, strong dude getting knocked out by bikini top girl

Anyone figure out how to stop the diesel from posing people? I tried numerous different options (to include killing both groups and keeping it). Still shows quest red. When i fought the german dude, bounce and his crew did not show up for the fight either
