The earlier it happens - the better, because the game becomes more fun and challenging. Groups of 20 is where explosives shine :)
agreed, its rough. it looks bad and hurts. but it fits the story and i would imagine the mercanary life isnt all sunshine and glory right? i loved this alot.
That said, if you have Elite militia in some areas, those are usually able to defend themselves against a squad of army or a squad of adonis mercs. Areas that never got any legion attacks, so militia is only 8 veterans will usually just get crushed.
I slowly wiped all the snapper heads on my way back to Corazon!
short version:
i lost forts + A2 mine.
haven´t checked spawn at A2 but i guess it´s doable with 2-3 (good) mercs.
on my current run i plan to also hold A2, since the military shots miners when you try to take back the mine. no idea if this affects the mines output at this point tho.
you'll collect a lot of phat loots
Reclaiming the land is ease with auto battle.
A challenge y may want to try is to stop all the invasions with 3 full squad. Quite fun having 24 army guys in your mg zone and see how they try to get out
Bomb the ♥♥♥♥ out of time.
In one battle my 40mm hit 20 enemy's and kill all at their starting deployment zone
