Unique Weapons
There are seemingly unique weapons in the game with special looks and special traits. I have found two up to now: The "Gold Rush" sniper rifle and the "Lion´s roar" modified Uzi from the resistance leader in Pantagruel. Are there more?

Unique machete named the Thing dropped by someone from a prison.

I haven't been impressed by the unique items so far. I may be missing something, but they are basically un-modifiable weapons that have 1 small advantage over it's base model (Gold Rush does slightly higher damage, Thing has a higher crit chance than a machete, etc) I wold rather have a fully modded weapon of the same type, especially that rifle which can be heard across the map.

Was there a unique armor piece obtainable from the refugee camp? (If you do all the quests in time, which I did not.) Or just was it a standard piece?

It may be unique, I have not found another of its kind. It's heavy armor that is not cumbersome to move in, but cannot be modified with plates or weave.

There is also ...

- the composite machete & the repairable crowbar at D17
- Ma Baxter's shotgun K9 obviously ;)
- Confidante (winchester) very early & deep decision in H2 - not ratting out Herman will give you this weapon but you can't hire Pierre anymore as his father dies

And there is "The hired gun" (assault rifle) - but I haven't got that yet Might be a reward in H13 for siding with the boss of the arena (forgot his name)

F*ck didn't know about the Winchester, always spare Herman, but this weapon early on would have been a godsed !

Same. They are often less useful than fully modified regular guns.

It's just a worse AA-12. And you can get the real thing from three sectors further. :p

I wasn't talking about it's combat effectiveness... It has another use.

Edit - Ok I'm not sure why I was being vague. Bring it to Granny Cohani in Port Macao.

The only unique weapon I found that was late-game viable was The Thing; it has 200% damage scaling with 100 Strength, along with the exact same boosted crit chance that the Composite Machete has, despite not possessing the tag. True Strike renders crit chance pointless, though.

Pierre has a unique machete called Legion's Pride attached, but it's barely better than the base machete and Composite.

A lot of them do suck.

Confidante is probably the best of them just considering how early you can get it. Most people don't get it (I don't) though. The gold M14 is not bad at all if you grab it early. A merc with good AGI can shoot and reload in the same turn or vice-versa. High damage and it has armor penetration like an M82 which you may not see at all in your game.

The weapon Bounce gives you is not unique, just rare a PSG-1.

Hired Gun appears to be a named Galil, not sure where you get it.
