Wilcox Diary

I have the quest to search for Roger Wilcox diary. I have foung his letter in his house and got the hint that his diary is to the west. I learned from the discussions that I have to go to F12 and I am supposed to find the diary at the three statues. But when I am there, I can´t find anything. Is this a bug or am I missing anything?

When I was doing this quest, I needed to pick up all of the clues for it to become visible, even though a rational person would only need the "under a rock" and "not in the village, go West" clues.

You also need to walk reasonably close to the rock for it to become highlighted as an interactive object.

As said above or might be your merc don't have wisdom high enough to spot it

Yeah it was pretty straight forward, just follow the clues in order and the game walks you through it. No thinking involved, but as mentioned you might need a high enough wisdom to see the clues?

Nothing like the Guy De Vere quest later... That was just painful. My advice is when you see it just skip that one, no harm no foul.

I just had the same problem. Was rather frustrating, but eventually I figured out that you need to exhaust every single clue in Chalet de la Paix before you can investigate the rocks and find the diary.
