Thor's pills

Thor's unique perk is to produce pills, and for a long time I stayed away from those because they were labeled as having potential "side effects". However, after starting to take one from time to time, I noticed that those side effects doesn't seem to be downsides, at least not for me.

So far, besides the +30 grit bonus which is quite nice to have in a pinch, those pills also gave the user some AP and reduced his tired status by 1 tier. I never had a bad side effect. Has anyone else had issues with those? Because if the "side effects" are more like "random bonus", then this character is definitely underrated.

I think it's always +1 AP. I have never seen any other effect.

Might cure fatigue like you say, not sure.

Thor is awesome and his passive is too. Way underrated merc and overlooked doctor.

I gave Barry a few on his inventory coz he is my light armor build character.

I saw something somewhere that said it could remove addiction. Might have been a hospital or hermit healer or something so I would guess that it's possible to get addicted? Maybe?

Possible, though the addiction cure is meant for a character struggling with drug abuse.

One of the negative side effects is berserk. Haven't experienced any other ones though and it only occurred like two times for me while keeping Thor from start to finish. So yeah, his talent is one of the best in the game and his stats are awesome too. The actual downside is his high salary.
