No Bobby Ray's. You have to find the fishmarket.

There are two merchants. In Fleatown, there is a marketplace, and in Port Cacao, there is an old woman who sells things at the harbor. But they never have what I need. Maybe there are more vendors, but I havent found them yet.

Yeah, hehe... I'm playing on "Commando" difficulty, and it's hardly playable. You occasionally find a new weapon, but practically no ammunition. I have no idea how they expect us to play without Bobby Ray's. My sniper is running around with a Glock, and the others have knives and revolvers because small-caliber ammo is all you can find in abundance. Ammunition for anything other than an AK is worth more than diamonds.

And it's the same with medicine. The enemies practically hit you with every shot, no matter how much cover you have, but there is hardly any medical supplies available, except for a few bushes.

And then they expect me to manage 15-30 mercenaries later on? Picking flowers? Well, I think the game is really great, but the fact that there is no weapon store and only this poorly designed crate-buying system, where you can't even choose what you want but have to take what's in it, is an absolute no-go.

cheap vendors.

is it too hard to programm anything better?
So far, I've had to create the ammo myself through "operations" in towns. This is so stupid.
No Bobby Ray's, ugly big and clunky UI, not even half the functionalities from what we had in JA2 but hey: At least the mercs got some magic ammo reloading equipment that they can use in most towns....

You mean the workshops... is it a wonder that workshops in a war torn country have equipment to make ammunition?

I absolutly agrre with VoidByte, the game is great fun, but the design of the "shops" is pure and fells unfinished, i realy hope they change that soon.

I'm glad Bobby Ray's is not in this.
I really like and prefer the scavenging playstyle and having to make due.

Unfortunately Grand Chien is not on the list of locations served by Bobby. Fortunately there's enough ammunition to get around in the country.

Not me... And really not having anything to spend money on except mercs is not fun, got like 200K in one month, useless

there are market tables that regenerate with different items in nearly every major town, and some in minor locations as well. you aren't going to find end-game items in them, but you will find some decent stuff. I think they wanted to be able to control your access to weapons. In JA2, Bobby Rays pretty quickly ramps up to be the source for most of the powerful items in the game.

There is another Merchant at the Poachers Camp who sells a Dragunov.

Otherwise on the Fleamarket i can only buy MP5K and Glock 18, at the ole Granny in Port Cacoa the FN-FAL.

Thats all Merchants i found so far. You can get some Guns with the "Lootbox-Trade" in Fleatown as well. I got an HK 21 and an Steyr AUG this way.

Grizzly with the HK 21 and enough Ammo is basically cheat mode btw...
