This or Wasteland 3

Any advice on which should i do waiting for BG3 ?
I'm more into pillars of eternity, DAO rather than XCOM but i like funny tactical too

Wasteland 3 would suit you more. It's more of an RPG while JA3 is mostly combat with some RPG elements.

With your mentioned preferences, you need to adult up and decide on your own. I don't think you will regret buying JA3. It's more on the tactical side (XCOM) than RPG driven (W3, BG3, POE etc)

Not played this much yet but Wastelands 3 is a brilliant game, you can't go wrong there. This on the other hand hasn't been tested enough yet to recommend.

Why do you need advice. Wasteland is an RPG, JA3 is not. Wasteland has been out for ages and has been patched and has generally been considered to be good, JA3 came out today. That's all you need to know, pick whichever you think would be more fun to you.

While both games are same zaner(like turn base combat) I found Wasteland 3 to be major disappointment over wasteland 2.. (Microsoft bought In exile which made them into a part of corporate bots and it showed in their sparkly now soulless game)
JA3 i feel has the same feel, as the old games,its an unforgiving chess board,where you have to weight choices and can play many different way,unlike games like Larian Studio makes which gives tons of options in battle which for me were boring and or tedious.

Wastenland is a CRPG while JA3 is a SRPG core game with a dynamic world map/management part. I would say go for Wasteland 3 if you haven't played it yet. great game and watch some JA3 content on YT before buying.

Wasteland 3 is the much better game mate. Just play that instead. This is like 6/10 game. Combat here is significantly more boring.

your bar for brilliance must be very low. Found W3 to be crap vs. W2. Very dumbed down. Lost interest in it really quickly. JA3 is dumbed down compared to JA2, but mostly because I'm so used to JA2 1.13. Hopefully once modding gets going, it will improve. Something to do until BG3 drops.
