Which mercs did you started with?

After restarting a few times to get my man Hitman, I settled with my I.M.P character, Hitman, Igor, Barry, MD and Livewire. But I'm curious of which mercs you guys picked from the start?

IMP, Fox, Vicki, Meltdown and Barry

Barry has really good intuition (wisdom) about the place from the get go. Vicki has already lock-picked so many things others couldn't in the first 2 sectors. Fox heals fast and is chatty, and Meltdown is a character I love because she sees past any bull!

IMP, Vicky, Fox and Wolf just because Fox wanted. Happy with the team performance except I should have given more agility to my own merc. I also tried to hire Buns, but she didn't want to work with Fox. Her loss.

I was going to hire Wolf because Fox likes him, but he wasn't available. I'm not a fan of Grizzly, so she's stuck with the religious Barry lol

Sheds a tear. So much like the og ja 2 i love it. Though the controls and feel take some getting used to

. Depends on who is available to begin with but I started my game with My own avatar, Wolf, Thor and Livewire on the meedium difficulty where you start off with 30k.
So with that in mind, I signed Wolf and Thor on 5 day contracts to save a little on the cash and signed up livewire on a 14 day. Left me enough to create my own merc and have just under a k left. Just have to sell my soul to keep paying the mercs for now ;)

Thor and Wolf were always my goto OG characters.

EDIT: sheds another tear... Gus Tarballs.... sigh...

I got my I.M.P, Buns, Steroid and Kalyna, and now i have hired my 5th merc Grunty.

My own ,(Stealth/Night Ops), Livewire (for mechanical and hacking), Fox (Medic) and Meltdown (Allrounder). After Fleatown, Kalyna (Love her personality). I would probably replace Meltdown with Barry to better cover explosives, should I start again.

I'm unironically thinking about restarting my run, Raven went MIA before I could recruit her.

Ice, Steroid (both favorites from JA2), Barry, Mouse, IMP, Dr. Q cause I needed a medic and game suggested him. Way too expensive, dropping him for Kalyna or Buns. Maybe Ice too due to ammo usage but hard to part with an old fave. Barry has been super clutch in tight situations with thrown explosives.

IMP, Ivan, Igor, Kalyna and Buns. Got Barry then fairly quickly and since I was disappointed in Kalynas performance, replaced her after 1 week with Livewire.

After I was done with the starter island, I replaced Igor with Meltdown (he is really great, but so, very, expensive... no matter how you use Ivan, it always feels like you waste half of his kit whatever you do with him).

MD is super good as a doctor, and his wisdom is high enough that you can train his marksmanship to extremely high levels with ease.

made IMP with max physical stats and marksmanship, CQC and night ops (I think)
hired Fox, Igor, Kalyna
added Barry to take the fort
added Grunty to take the mine

Downloading just now but Barry was always an auto-pick in JA2 for me, and probably for this one too if he has anywhere near the same sort of stats balance : )

Barry auto crafts his own overpowered grenades that can erase 3-5 enemies at a time in the early game. And marksmanship and medical can be trained rapidly with his high wisdom.
