Just because the specs say "Even though it supports DirectX 12, the feature level is only 11_0, which can be problematic with newer DirectX 12 titles." it doesn't mean diddly squat.

You should learn that it is telling you even though the chipset has been built to support DirectX 12, the installed instruction set only supports DirectX 11.0 features.

If you are getting this error, it means your GPU does not fully support DX12 and consequently does not meet the requirements to run this game.

O, rly? I want to see full list of games with these features. I just want to know, in what companies works such code monkeys. Even Diablo 4, BG 3 will work with GPUs from topics with this failure. But not JA3. I can realese and start selliing Microsoft Office ONLY with EXCLUSIVE DX12 support, as you are saying -)). And it will not work with Nvidia 900- GPUs. But will it make sense? Zero. But these developers just did it.

P.S. Oh yes. Have you seen any complaints about old Radeon GPU's in all topics with this failure? Hmmmmm.... wait a minute... do they not exist?

Just because a video card claims to be compatible with DX12 it all comes down to what features the coding in the cards chipset supports. In this case the DX12 "capable" card only has capability to run DX11_0 features consistently.

The "even though it supports DirectX 12, the feature level is only 11_0, which can be problematic with newer DirectX 12 titles." statement indicates the GPU itself supported it, but more than just the GPU has to support it, the physical card must be capable.

It may come down to the features / instructions the game needs. Many times it means the gpu can support DX12_0 but the features / instructions supported by the card is only DX11_0.

Don't you remember when gpu manufactures switched from DX11 to DX10 there was the same problem because video card manufactures lagged behind in implementing the newer feature set?

The link below shows the differences between the DX features at the bottom of the page, you will notice this problem shows up in DX12 cards with DX11_0 features. If the card has DX11_1 features there is no problem.

I have a mac book. Win 10 is installed on it, while dx12 is installed. All the old games work. But ja 3 is not a fig does not work because of an error. Do I have to buy a new computer? Or are you too lazy to fix such mistakes? Sorry, but it annoys me that everything is done by a multiplayer and then only for a single one.

There is no mistake for the developers to fix. The game is developed to utilize DirectX 12 features. Your GPU has DirectX 11_0 features in it's coding.

Yes, and it's actually easier to support directx11 than it is to support directx12. A lot of (quality) games have the option to choose which directx version you want to play the game on. Don't trust everything you read here. There are a lot of trolls like wilson. Do your own research. And even though it's possible to be done, I doubt it would be fixed any time soon (judging by some of the other complaints about this rushed title), if at all
