In new window you can see information about your GPU. Most interesting point in this situation - "Direct3D level", the third string. I bet your GPU has something like 11.XX, not 12.

hi sparta, apparently a "directx 12 compatible" gfx card is not enough. it depends of how old it is/which gen.

so what gfx card should you get for this game. anyone got a suggestion?
best budget card running jag3 ?

"Even though it supports DirectX 12, the feature level is only 11_0, which can be problematic with newer DirectX 12 titles." Its from article that you linked, lmao.

Oof, I almost bought this expensive game but it seems my dual GTX 770 won't run it although they are really strong enough for epic settings in most games. Shame on developers

maybe the devs will make a patch eventually, or you can try this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8B2qNutwleA
It says
DirectX
12 (11_0)
Not quite sure what to make of that. Either way, the hardware is grossly obsolete at this point [no offense]. If it's not running, this is the likely culprit.

The hardware is fine, it's just lazy programming. There's nothing amazing about the graphics here, no offense. *Remove from wishlist*

Same issue "failed to load graphics subsystem" GTX 870m.

Something is not right. I have the same issue with Dell Precision M4800 and Nvidia Quadro K1100M (DirectX 12, Direct3D 11_0) - game is not running. But with HP ZBook and Nvidia Quadro M2000M (the same DirectX 12, Direct3D 11_0) - game is running without problem.

Interesting. I have 730M, which is similar to K1100M and the game also doesn't work. Both are Kepler architecture, while M2000M is Maxwell. Maxwell supports shader model 6.7, while Kepler - only 6.5. Maybe that's the difference?

As a result, is it planned to release a patch with a bug fix that failed to load the graphics subsystem, or can we safely not wait for a patch with a fix?
Thx.

You can safely go and buy a graphics card that is not a 10+ years old ancient relic
