I don't think Lynx or Buzz are in the game. I haven't seen them in any of the screenshots.

The game seems good tho from the videos i watched, and yeah Lynx had his own persona.. so if you have a problem with a trip back to the 80s where people could be who they are without getting cancelled, and people had a sense of humor.. i am assuming the game might hurt your feelings. I pray to god its not PC.

Magic was huge. He was AAA class, and in JA3 he looks like some raggie hippie on vacation.

I think the whole rooster of mercs is still unknown as of now.
But to be clear, as soon as you start a new game you will be told that the game continues the tradition of "poking fun at cliches and stereotypes and also takes jabs at contemporary issues and pop culture. Players are encouraged to use their own judgement and discretion when playing the game."
So I guess you would have to wait and see if it's too much for you.
