Temple in SE Vanicia - Hints Please

Hi All, I am near the end of the game but I cannot solve the riddle to get into the hidden temple in Vanicia. I have this cryptic scroll I got from the Fire Giant fortress after defeating hordes of powerful monsters. Needless to say, the scroll is not helping me. The words spell gibrish. Do I need to spell out the words to help me get into the temple? Please provide non-spoiler hints. Thanks! Love this game!

Isn't there someone in the game that provides translations? Of course, multiple people sent you after the giants as well.

I think the wizard's assistant at main base would have translated but they got killed after the wizard summoned some powerful elemental lords so I am out of luck! Not to worry though I got the solution from another player

Yes. For reference: you have to show the scroll to Wizard Apprentice Shania in the Keep of the Knights of the Chalice to have it deciphered. In Maestro's case, she was killed earlier, but the party can still enter the temple.
