I have not found one, same excuse they give for all the games that have censorship Japan's laws. Sounds like an easy scapegoat to me. Too cheap to fix it for themselves.

I am an adult, and I DO NOT live in Japan. So there are two huge reasons why I will NEVER buy games that are meant for adults but treat us like children. This is coming off my Wishlist. HEY DEVS, LISTEN UP!!! If you truly are doing this to make money, then do it right!

I can't agree more with being spoon fed these iffy Japanese laws. That some game companies seem to follow and others just ignore. So my question is in this day and time. Is there not any other place in the world (without these archaic laws). That can make these types of games?

Guys, it is illegal to create and distribute the uncensored images in Japan, even if purchased in another country. To distribute a "DLC" from Japan would be illegal. To even make it in Japan would be illegal. The logistics of distributing a DLC are stupid, and is to get foreign artists to draw and to publish it.

As long as Japan has that law, and the game is made in Japan, and they are too small a company to hire out foreign work, then you will get mosaics and no DLCs. Just be glad you get nipples.

Many other games that have patches have those because their artwork is likely done offsite in another country with contracted artists.

I know it's censored but it seems good and cheap enough to give it a try.

edit: I think there are more annoying ways to censore it with pixel optic.
In other games the pixel zone seems bigger and more annoying.

The real reason for pixelation is the banning of Shunga Art in XVIII century. In Shunga the male and female parts were often exaggerated, while the upper torso usually was clothed or androgenous (child-like, even). I don't think it's written in modern law to pixelate private parts in adult content. It is simply a cultural thing. Japan regularly produces unpixelated adult content, so in the end it's up to the creators' whim. I think some people find it more arousing when it's pixelated, as it's all about leaving something to the imagination.

Its not a matter of whether you live in Japan or not, the game was created in Japan for Japanese audience, and in Japan they have to censor their porn, therefore when they created the art for the character's genitalia, they made it pixilated from the start. Which is to say an uncensored version doesn't even exist, so there are no available uncensored assets to replaced the censored ones with. Therefore it is impossible to de-censor this without completely redrawing the sex scenes. They would have to find artist outside of Japan skilled in drawing hentai and able to replicate the specific artistic style of this game, so that it doesn't look out of place. That would be difficult, time consuming, and expensive. This is only meant to be an English port, not a remake. You're expecting too much from these devs. at least they left the sex scenes in the game, unlike many other Japanese-to-English ports.
