Nessera Caves Water - Where Is It?

So I've been to that spot a number of times already. Decided to try again using the light spell. I cannot find it. I've been roaming through the entire cave from both sides and I do not see it anywhere. I recall it was a short straight corridor heading north.

Also curious as to why I had to remap the whole cave again.

Well this area has been mentioned several times in the discussion section so not much of a spoiler. I've found it multiple times, including this latest run through. But my mapping of the area largely reset. I've been roaming every nook and cranny top to bottom and back again in this cave and can't find it.

Is there any way to drain it? Cant open the chest or get to the mamma mirtek without companions dying

No, currently there is no way to deal with that area besides just chugging a lot of potions or paying up for expensive revives

Well, youc can use some MAGIC to heal instead of potions but thats it. And if ya are lucky, you will need to cast one extra spell once you are out
