What are the "best" bikes in the game for each catagory?
By best I basically mean easiest to win with. I'm not very good at this game I'll be honest and I was wondering what you guys have had the most success with. Also tips on tuning ei I figured out putting the overall gear ratio to the minimum makes every bike perform significantly better. Surprisingly I couldn't find anyone discussing this here

Hi, in career mode for the Super sport I favour the ZX-6R with Parts & Settings: Radiator = 1, Forks =3, Transmission = 5, Engine = 4, Brakes = 4, Chassis = 4 and Tyres = 2. I set/leave the Final Ratio at 5 which gives a good balance to win races and even achieve a hardcore TT win.

In career mode for Superbike, I opt for the ZX-10R with Parts & Settings: Radiator = 1, Forks =3, Transmission = 4, Engine = 1, Brakes = 5, Chassis = 5 and Tyres = 4. I set the Final Ratio to 4.35 which severely reduces the top speed but gives great acceleration and makes the bike much more manageable, this is perfect for short circuits I find but is still very competitive on the longer tracks and it’s still possible to win a TT in even hardcore mode with a bit of planning although it is challenging.

I do not touch the suspension geometry for either of the above.

If I’m doing a hard core run then for the classic races I choose Hailwood’s Ducati, it’s a nice nostalgic bike and its low top speed will help avoid having season ending crashes if you do happen to come off.

For Time Attacks I prefer to use Joey Dunlop’s Yamaha, it’s a great bike and again very nostalgic and if pushed can still be competitive with the more modern Suzuki XR69 (this bike would probably benefit from changes to the suspension setting I feel) and Rotary Norton. For these types of races I configure the final ratio according to the type of circuit.

I often try out the other bikes in the quick race mode, they are all lots of fun and have their own characters, the rotary Norton is great, I like the Ducati a lot and the MV is also very nice (classic fan!).

I’ve tried some of the other Supersport's and like some of them but I’ve found that the ZX-6R just feels more predictable and less twitchy or prone to amplifying the issues when travelling over the poorer road surfaces, likewise with the Superbikes.

I find the Kawasaki’s give a stable and predictable ride allowing me to complete seasons comfortably and still be competitive when it comes to the final three TT races.

When doing a career hard core run I plan out the season in order to get to the last TT races as soon as I can and then choose the one I want to compete in, you can forfeit up to 7 races before your team abandons you meaning you can skip a couple if you are in a hurry to get to the TT, avoid skipping the last couple of races though if you want your perk points as there is a 20 perk point deduction for quitting a race and you may also need the money for those perks depending on how many seasons you have already completed.

All the best with your racing!

There are no Ducatis in the game unless I'm missing something?
