Bike setups
Hi all, are there any bike setups shared by someone? I am a bit puzzled by what would be the optimal suspension setup for the TT course, since making it too soft makes turning difficult, but making it harder just causes me to fall easily on bumps.

best suspension you can get and not quite the softest 80% i find works well and practice practice practice

Honda CBR1000 2019

Suspension = Lev.5
Gear = Lev.4
Motor = Lev.5
Brake = Lev.3
Chassi = Lev.5
Wheels = Lev.5
Cooler = level 2

Front hardness: 36500nm
Back hardness: 38000nm
front compression: 84%
compression rear: 90%
expansion in front: 105%
rear stretch: 103%

Gear ratio: 5.05
G1 = 2.3 / G2 = 1.8 / G3 = 1.5 / G4 = 1.3 / G5 = 1.2 / G6 = 1.0

Motor brake: 175%

Brake: 109%

a setup for sneafall mountain with very soft properties. it is important to take turns early because the soft setup comes at the expense of agility. maybe it will help someone.

Thanks a lot for the input, I will test it immediately!

with pleasure. you can also try this setting for more grip and shorter braking distances.
Front hardness: 36500nm
Back hardness: 38000nm
Front compression: 82%
Rear compression: 86%
Expansion before: 107%
back stretch: 110%
if the response is too sluggish for you, first try the same setup with more acceleration. gear 5.10 or 5.15.

turn in early / plan ahead / hit the gas again as early as possible to get around the curve. with the setup you can brake very hard in many corners. 14:50:00 on sneafall is possible i think

I tested the setup for suspension and motor brake in Superbike TT, managed a solid 6th place with BMW 1000, I do not have the Honda yet in my garage but the setup seemed to translate fine to other bike as well. The bike behaved wonderfully and predictably, gone were the falls that resulted in uneven surface and jumps.

All the falls I had were purely on my own fault of pushing too fast or not remembering the track - and that will require more and more practice to master the track.

Thanks a lot for the setup, a huge step forward in mastering the beast of TT track!

Thanks alot !
I was kinda stuck/lost on suspension settings, and used a way softer setup, specialy for the back.
Now i tried this, and it opened my eyes. It felt great. Although there is a little concern about my rear tire temperture, and afraid its completely worn out after 1,5 laps.
Gonna test some more. :steamthumbsup:

YES! I finally managed to win the Senior TT after a long and stressful 6 laps. Your suspension setup helped a lot, now I could concentrate on the racing and remember the places where I should slow down due to uneven road surface.

My rear tire was also completely worn after 1,75 laps, but honestly it did not really matter when just driving softly to the end. Not sure if the suspension is the reason for that - but in any way I prefer it soft, at least it is possible to drive the lap without constant fear of falling.

Thank you dude! I know I'm sooo late but I just got this game in the winter sale. I did feel that my bike needed some adjustment but I didn't know where to start. This setup made my bike feel better in braking and speeding both in corners and straights, despite me using the BMW one. Defo gonna try the CBR next.
