Best controller for this game
Hi guys, as a big TT fan i've bought this game just for having some fun on the famous track. I'm a real life bike rider, and i'm a simracer as well. I've tried to play with keyboard but i don't feel it comfy, and i dont wanna use my steering wheel because i feel it strange. What's the best gamepad controller compatible with this game? Pretty sure it would be much more immersive. Thank you in advance, have a nice day!

I've yet to try ye olde Logitech Wingman Joystick :) Will do soon.
i switched from the PS4 Controller (wich i used for multiple 1000h in racing games) to the Xbox Elite 2 Controller. Its far better now (especially the triggers!), but i think the price of that thing is not for everybody...

My Logitec Wingman works great using x360ce and then programing it's functions in the controller setup in game.

A little more info on using the Logitec Wingman flight stick. Yes, direct input joy sticks do work in TT2. It took me some doing to figure it out. With TT1 x360ce worked also. The joystick functions you program into the x360ce transfer over into the TT1 game. In TT2 they do not, however, when you go to the controller setup in the game all you have to do is create a new preset and program the button setup into the preset. It works very well. (You have to use the x360ce program as you can't just go to the game and setup a direct input joystick without it) A flightstick is SOOO much better to use for me than a game pad. I liked TT1, but TT2 is even better.

Thanks for your comment. I'm gonna try my thrustmaster warthog stick to see how it feels. I bet your lean is more precise. Less pumping to hold a perfect angle on the lean I hope. Are you pressing forward for gas and back for breaks?

The thrustmaster warthog is the best control for this game. Forward stick is gas. Back is the break. Left and right is the lean. You can adjust the sensitivity of the lean to get it just right. I use one of the hat buttons on the throttle to gear up and down. It feels like butter. Very solid...SOLID.
Turning is now silky smooth . Holding a line is very very easy. Holding a certain speed is easy. Breaking is smooth. I drive using no aids and helmet cam on and I can actually stay on the bike. This game now plays like it should. No more pS4 controller for me. Flight sticks simulates this game the best.

I've tried the Dualshock 4 and an Xbox One gamepad with the game. Both are good but the rumble feedback with the Xbox One pad is better. There are different-sized motors in that pad that are fully used to provide feedback (i.e. a different motor is using for gear changes as compared to crashes),
