If you have already played motorbike games before and you practise only a few laps in Quick Race mode before you start the Career Race, you can't even fail.
You will win every race.
And it looks like you don't even have to win all the races to get the maximum of ingame money out of it, it is enough to get third place. (but I'm not entirely sure about that).
So you can rush through the career and apparently 2 seasons are enough to fully upgrade your preferred SS and SBK.
Yeah career is easy, once you know the track you win almost every race by going full speed into corners...
While attempting to workaround the offline bug, I've restarted season (to reacquire access to a leader board menu) several times. Running 'Simulation' mode with 'Expert' AI, a single fall will result in a close finish with the lead AI rider.
There's no way I can remain full throttle in say an actual 4th gear corner. I could get away with 5th gear, but 6th flatout would result in a huge corner radius. Fair enough the wheels remain on rails, even banked rails lol but not quite rollercoaster!
So, I had a little bonus... Turns out the classics allow some setup changes from default. I simply can't go back to the modern bikes now I really know what I'm missing.
Game requires unlocked mode for sim-heads like myself, or how it is for arcade gameplay.
There is a Career DLC in the shop, which you own if you have pre-ordered the game.
If not, you can still buy it for 3€.
Perhaps that makes the difference.
Or, the AI riders in career mode are somehow connected to the difficulty setting in Quick Race mode.
In Ride 3, it was like that, and it made a huge difference.
The thing is, I won all the races with an unbelievable amount of time, like a minute and even more.
Lately I change the difficulty settings in Quick Race to 'Expert'.
The next race in Career Mode, it was Sector 4-6 at IOM, I had no crash and a really good pace, but I won only with 3 secs....
But that could be coincidence.

YourPlayerID = serial number of your steam account
1082180 = ID of the game.
I don't expect a fix, or even a response. So what to do? Put the game down happened so far, I'm already oppressed from taking part so bx to it @ dev.
No, I don't have the Buy From M&S bonus, unfortunately.
It's the TT_Isle_of_Man_2_Pro_Newcomer_Pack DLC
Granted i can take corners quicker in TT2 than i can in real life, but...
There's no way i can take corners anywhere near double the normal speed, never mind near flat out. My bike's front end is lowsiding and falling over. I expect that to happen and I like it a lot.
I just wish this game was, "very much more UNForgiving" in "sim" mode.
What it really needs is some sort of "basic set of parameters".
A "max lean angle" for starters. Go over that and the bike should fall.
Abuse that lean angle with too much throttle and you should be paying the price(highside).
Still talking about the lean angle here and tight turns such as hairpins especially.
If you Do Not give enough throttle to keep the bike up and moving forward, it should fall over.

Now i know it's NOT just a simple case of plugging in some numbers and we have a solution.
But... the dev's really need to fix "simulation" mode.
Simulation mode should mean just that, simulation.
Visually TT2 is stunning, but these arcade features we're stuck with will become old real quick.
"Simulation" mode - should not always mean making something more difficult.
"Simulation" mode should mean - representing a real life situation and translating that to the user.
With the amount of grip at extreme angles in TT2, simulation is just a word and has no meaning, no meaning at all.
I honestly, like so many others, want this game to be the best it can be.
So of curse I slow down before the corner, but as I start to lean the bike I quickly downshift and use both brakes. When bike is in lean it will not crash and rear will nkt go up. Even if you lock rear wheel under heavy braking and downshifting once you lean the bike rear regains grip. Just like TCS was always on...
This is something i posted in another thread.
Read what i wrote, particularly about "pilot shifting weight and session restart", how it affects bike handling/physics. I've bolded it to make it a bit easier to see.
Try starting a freeroam session - the bike wheelies great and tricky to keep front wheel down.
Pause > restart - now the bike feels as if riding aids are on and it's much harder to wheelie.
Pausing and Restarting any session in any mode is definitely changing the way the bike handles.
Oh...
And surely the two "TT riders" that were testing and helping develop the game, must have told the Dev's there is too much grip and the lean angles are wrong.!!
