Makes you wonder how legit those reviews are?
I don't have this title yet , but I adjusted a few things in NVIDIA Control panel that work wonders on the first version.
Open NVIDIA Control Panel
(1). Create a game profile (Manage 3d settings / program settings / add / select the game)
(2). Set "Power Management Mode" to: Prefer maximum performance.
(3). Set "Low Latency Mode to "On" or "Ultra" - This is basically setting pre-render frames to one.
(4). Lock frame rate to 60.
(5). Turn on Vsync or Gsync
(6). Leave Triple buffer off for now, (set to on if needed later).
PS: Make sure to set "PhysX" to your GPU, not the CPU or Auto... This is for visual stuff that uses that Nvidia feature... It's in under "Configure surround, PhysX"
This did wonders for me. I now have a smooth running game. Thankyou.
I'm stuck now, i like the game, i like motorbike, i love TT (which will not take place this year :'(, but
in view of the speed of play, this kind of annoyance should not be tolerated.
Please Dev help us with this bug in helmet
Hey !! Thanks for this !! I have 1st version and was unplayable on desktop and laptop (both alienware), This fix worked on both for me !! Thanks Again !

The next important find is that the InGame Motion Blur feature seeems to heavily mess with the game's framepacing @120FPS. When I enable Motion Blur in this specific framerate it will mess with the framepacing even when RTSS reports a perfect constant 120 FPS @120Hz. Those framepacing issues from the Motion Blur feature results in noticable Stutters. Once you disable motion blur, you will get the correct constant FPS (that is if your PC keeps a constant 60 or 120.)
Motion Blur seems to work as intended when you only play @60Hz.
So make sure your rig & Graphics settings offer you a locked 60 FPS @60/120Hz or 120FPS @120Hz and disable InGame Motion Blur if you play at 120Hz. Any Framerate below, inbetween or above will not give you a smooth experience.
