in iPhone, can get it working easily...
The reason this is so is because when you use a station, you technically are able to choose which route you use (in theory, anyway), and thus, 'counting' a route as finished would be pre-emptive for the game. I think it's annoying from a visual standpoint, but it's bearable.
To answer Purl, you only need a single station on one side (either what you're going from or coming to)
Target Route: Paris to Athina
Other player had Smyrna to Athina (2 train cars). I had the entire route from Paris --> Zurich --> Marseille --> Roma --> Palermo --> Smyrna. I put a station on Smyrna.
My target route FAILED during scoring. How does this make any sense?

You can clearly see that I should have completed the ticket, but it didn't score it properly.
Whoever did the design for the game isn't good at making functionality intuitive. How about the game setup screen? What the heck does the checkered flag icon mean and what does it toggle? They really needed someone that understood user interface design.
Did this ever get answered? Playing on SD & cant seem to work out how to use my stations?
