My fastest lap in the qualy prog in FP2 was 1:19.823 wich put me 1st a the end of the FP2 3 tenths ahead of Vettel. But I should have done a 1:19.358 to match the qualy prog time (3sec faster than 1st year).
I know their is at least 1sec to gain between Rich and Max fuel maps but imo I'll be in the top 6 or 8 with this time. I finished 6th in the constructor champ in the 1st season so I expected an improvement in the times i'll need to set for the dev programs but here this is just need a fix.
Playing with no assists and AI 100%
As season 2 has progressed (now at Monaco) I am finding that things are balancing out again. Rivals are more realistic, practice event times are actually achievable.
So the real question is; is it a bug or are you over-achieving with the car in the race and getting more points than the car should actually be capable of?
atm my asvg finish is 15th - 20th, these laps times it expects is front three.
In season 2 all the target times are crazy.
Most of the time I am asked to do times that are 1-2 seconds faster than the fastest AI (and i set the AI so Merc is faster than me).
The funny thing is this:
If i simulate the practice runs, I almost get full points. More than I would be able to do myself.
Also, if i actually do suck in any given qualifying, I can just simulate the race and be 1 or 2 for sure. Even if I am on 15th or worse in Monaco.
Season 1 was bad in the opposite direction, as I was usually 1.5 or 2+ seconds faster than the target times.
The target times and simulations are just way off for some reason.
Codemasters need to address this issue now.
