My team race distance

How can I switch the race distance of my team career?
I started with 25%, after 4 races I want to race longer, is it possible to switch the race distance to 50% without start an new mey team career?

Although this may depend on the specific session. I seem to remember it not being possible before qualifying or between qualifying and the race or something like that.

Yeah, but worst case you have to do it at the end of a season. But I'm pretty sure it's definitely possible between race weekends, if not within one.

I think you can only change it when loading up a new weekend. As you leave the factory area, hit start before you get to the laptop area. If you scroll across there should be 3 menus, one will have the race options and you can change it there.

If you have started a weekend your locked in as far as I know. Its possibly because engine,tyre and gearbox wear is scaled. To be safe once you have finished a weekend, exit to the menu and load career again. As its loading do what I said above, you have more time that way and can back out if needed. The menus load in about 2 seconds for me so need to be quick.

Well, you can definitely change it between practice sessions. I had no problem changing race length between Practice 1 and Practice 2, for example.
