What are the microtransactions of this game?
I saw in-app purchases tag on store page which got me worried, Looking to buy the game

You would have to buy the initial 9000 for 10 bucks or so to unlock the vip pass. Then you can unlock 10000 coins by leveling up.

And the podium pass actually isn't a big deal. Assuming you get the new one next week or so it costs 9000 coins but if you complete the 30 levels of a vip podium pass you get 10000 coins in total, enough for the next vip pass.

Wait for the next one, we'll see what ea does. Probably only get cars from loot boxes.

Thanks for the info, was there always microtransactions in the series? or is it new in f1 2020?

Indeed.

The Podium Pass Items are mostly unimaginative. As if someone had simply dragged a JPG pattern over the car or suit, a 30 second job and that was it. There are a few exceptions that are quite nice, but even these are not really good.

In addition, it has nothing to do with Formula One. Very few skins are reminiscent of Formula One. Only a handful can be related to Formula One with a lot of good will.

Modders do a lot better Job with nice Liverys. All Items in the Store, Pass and Shop not worth the Cash. I buyd one Pass with the free ingame cash i get for buying the game. But the Stuff you get atm are more for Clown Cars/Drivers then F1 Cars.
