hahaha well I feel honoured but it's getting very annoying! Literally at the point where I always try to stretch my first stint until I get one. (but sometimes it happens on lap 3 so at least its not that predictable!)
One race i had 3 sc and one vsc and no i don't hit any cars due to my bonus with clean race and need those money :D
Have you all tried reporting it to or asking Codemasters Customer Support?
Its normally the first mechanical failure in the race that brings out the SC. Sometimes, if there's a second failure, the SC comes out, but usually not.
For example, I was at Japan, Ocon had a failure in S1 on lap 2 and brought out the SC. Couple laps later, I cause a crash at the exact same spot, took out Kmag and caused a 5 car, car park, No SC or VSC.
Haven't contacted them yet. Wanted to see if this happened to other people as well.
I have Mexico next and I’m hoping there isn’t one if they’re not coming out for you anymore!
Strange that it differs so much between us?
I guess it brings out a variety in playthroughs with different people. However, this does seem INCREDIBLY annoying when you get a safety car in nearly every race and it ends up ruining your strategy or your fun especially when the SC stays in for like a few laps.
Usually, mechanical failures shouldn't even bring the safety car out especially when the car is in a safe run-off area. When you actually use flashback and go to the car that had the issue, they will park the car in the nearest run-off area and then get a DNF. How this even brings out an SC? No damn clue. The car with the mechanical issue gets removed after half a lap anyways.
