help! i suck at monaco
I'm guessing i'm not the only one having trouble with this track but i really wanna improve. I'm playing my team at 92 difficulty. And i tried a Monaco playing as Hamilton and got 6th in qualifying at 75. I recon if i turn down difficulty tom 75 in my team i wont completely embarrass myself. But i wanna get better! Any tips? Or should i just time lap till i get better or old age takes me?

Yeah, it's mostly practice. And use a high downforce setup if you're not using one.

I play simulation damage so i have to be very brave then in my 50% race :p

I skipped it in my team. playing full damage, 50% races I could tell in the practice sessions the car wouldn't survive. Maybe next season...

What's the difference between simulation and full damage by the way? You don't need to pit when your front wing is damaged for ex.?

long story short - Go time trial and learn how to FULLY FULLY COMMIT to every corner on monaco so set a rival ghost much faster than you and learn from him and rewind until you get close behind him or you feel youre MUCH faster and making progress, monaco , singapore and Azerbaijan are about FULL commitment or dont bother other tracks you can get away with it because you can make it up on other sectors.

Actually i don't find Azerbaijan that hardnot my favorite but its alright. Singapore i kinda hate too but i can compete. Monaco is just on another level.
But i think ill put in an hour in time trial to begin.

I think it affects the performance more. So in both cases damage shows but in simulation the performance is affected more by the damage.

Really? I thought full damage was the worst option. Well, I'll have to reconsider this, then!

Not at all. Start assist is on the right also :)
It's a bit confiusing, I admit :steamsalty:

Actually, after reflexion, I think full damage is the worst then reduced damage then simulation damage. As it says 'simulation': no impact on performance.

Since when does simulation mean no impact on performance? Simulation means simulation. So it's as real as possibly. You have to be really careful with your wing. On full damage you can get away with contact at a decent speed.

Heck, I play at 50 difficulty and all assists on, and I still suck.

Well so what's the difference with full? I don't get it!
