I'm in the same boat so, grab an oar and start paddlin' ! :)
It's pretty frustrating when I get top5 three races in a row then get smoked in the next two even if driving as well as before.
You don't have any problem in Monaco and don't neet to lower it also? Maybe because it's so tough to overtake?
..Please
Anyway, the AI really lacks variety, by corner 2/3 on the first lap of a race it is basically a procession, they just line up 1 by 1 and take the corner inexplicably slow simply because they don't deviate.
I totally agree with the point about some races being easier, thing is I know there are some tracks I suck on, but some I am very strong on.
The power output advantage received when you change a worn engine part is really insane too. So there are a few factors for sure.
Mlmh... Tell me, you do use a steering wheel?
I'm playing Belgium GP right now and the AI seem pretty bad there, especially compared to Hungary.
Canada, France, Belgium, GB, Russia, Monza, Abu Dhabi are pretty much guaranteed wins for me @80 AI level. Most of the rest I struggle at, since I am not quick enough from not having enough confidence in the setup to go REALLY fast.
