Unbalanced AI?
Is it just me or are tracks like France, Austria, Canada easy against the AI but then on Silverstone, Hungary I can drive pretty good yet I don't stand a chance.

Pretty much the same for most people. Its the consistent nature of the AI. More corners means more chances of us humans making small errors, but the AI can just do lap after lap exactly the same. Basically you need to practice tracks that your not so good at until you can cut out unforced errors over a stint.

I'm in the same boat so, grab an oar and start paddlin' ! :)

That makes sense but I will never be as consistent as the AI in Hungary when there are so many technical parts unless I spend ages on it.
It's pretty frustrating when I get top5 three races in a row then get smoked in the next two even if driving as well as before.

You can always lower the difficulty a bit. I race everything at 95 difficulty except Singapore. I lower that to 85, although last time that was maybe a little bit too easy.

yeah you should just lower it depending on the track unless thats to micromanagey lol

You don't have any problem in Monaco and don't neet to lower it also? Maybe because it's so tough to overtake?

Nope, I even perform a little bit better than expected there. Probably because of that overtaking issue. Although I guess I haven't raced there yet at 95 AI. I bumped the difficulty from 90 to 95 before Austria.

Mclaren Needs a Livery update
..Please
Yeah, slightly different but the AI feels a bit poor, I race on 97 (don't ask why I landed on that number) but it suits me and generally I compete around where my car performance is..

Anyway, the AI really lacks variety, by corner 2/3 on the first lap of a race it is basically a procession, they just line up 1 by 1 and take the corner inexplicably slow simply because they don't deviate.

I totally agree with the point about some races being easier, thing is I know there are some tracks I suck on, but some I am very strong on.

The power output advantage received when you change a worn engine part is really insane too. So there are a few factors for sure.

I play on 55 difficulty and in Hungry (iirc ) ( the one before Silverstone in a full season ) only me and Bottas where close to each other, I did so well I lapped every car and caught up to 5th place, but there's been tracks where I just get destroyed ( Monaco )

The AI is also terribly weak in Mexico

We should compile a list :)
I'm playing Belgium GP right now and the AI seem pretty bad there, especially compared to Hungary.

Yes, but with the gamepad it also went fine.

Canada, France, Belgium, GB, Russia, Monza, Abu Dhabi are pretty much guaranteed wins for me @80 AI level. Most of the rest I struggle at, since I am not quick enough from not having enough confidence in the setup to go REALLY fast.

Just lower the difficulty a couple of % thats what i do in some circuits like bahrain and Singapore. Increase it when the AI is bad in others ones like Belgium or Mexico. But yeah is not well balanced by Bugmasters.
