Help needed for a first time user of Logitech G29!
Can anyone with experience guide me through the steps to install and detect the G29 steering wheel? I just took delivery of the wheel and I can't seem to get it detected in my PC F1 2020. I was assuming the set-up would be as easy as plug and play for a PS4 controller on the PC Steam & F1 2020 platforms.

Yes I have installed G-Hub on my PC. Where do I download the drivers?

Am I supposed to even map the steering wheel on the Steam controller setup page? It’s not plug and play like the PS4 controller?

LGS seems to be the older version (2018). Hub-G looks more updated (2019). Nonetheless, I’ll delete G-Hub and try installing LGS to see if it works.

So let’s assumed I’ve downloaded LGS and installed successfully. What are the steps to set it up to work in PC F1 2020?

How did you get your G920 to work in the game in the first place? I can’t even get it detected as easily as my PS4 controller in the F1 game.

you have to open the logitech gaming software and then open the game, otherwise it may not read your wheel. i have the same one and have to do that.

I have managed to install the older LGS and deleted away G-Hub. But when I scan for games, the closest version is F1 2015. How do I add a F1 2020 under profile?

Kept LGS open but still don't see the steering wheel being detected.
You don't need to add the game to the profile, u can just start and it should detect automatically ur wheel

you don't need to worry about the profile. just make sure the app is running in the back ground

i have LGS or G-Hub running in the background of the game. None of the steering wheel buttons work.Steering wheel has been set up to work as i can see the light on on the steering wheel.
My windows detected the steering wheel as well as "G29 Driving Force Steering Wheel".

Datapoint: I have reinstalled G-Hub and uninstall LGS. Reboot the computer, off and on the G29 and got it working with F1 2020 once G-Hub detected the steering wheel. Thanks for the advice on keeping the app running behind the game.
