The FFB isn't Rf2, but I've found it consistent/predictable/communicative with minor (random in fact lol, just lowered canned effects and rose damping) adjustments to the sliders... using a T500RS with F1 rim here. Also using the setting that increases loss of grip feel (forgot the name).
Don't saying that you're wrong in your assessment, but have you tried it with traction assists to check if your issues isn't just mine (wheel spin due to "excessive" throttle)? The AI looks like they drive with traction control for me...
Also, something that I'm quite curious is if you're playing "My Team"? Maybe it is an artificial difficulty due to non-researched car? I didn't play yet in multi or other "fully-researched" modes.
But has been said by the esports drivers, you have to learn how to drive it in a unique way. Ive not played much yet but last years was better i think so far.
19 was big step up from others and was a good game but this just seems a copy and paste job with worse handling.
I mean you don't never hundred of laps to understand something is wrong. The torque curve is really really strange but you can't even feel a simple oversteer so this not related to the throttle for me. Sometimes you understeer for the same no reason you, sometimes, oversteer. It feels like you drive the most horrible F1 car possible: understeer in entry and oversteer in exit of corners with random handling inside the corners. You feel the front lateral grip if you increase Tire Damper, and this feels good, but you drive a truck. It feels like the rear of the car is not connected to the wheel. The same with a Mercedes or a Myteam car, the Merc one is just faster in straights and corners so laptimes comes down but handling the same.
Didn't tried linearity so maybe it helps. Also my wheel is a G29 but with other games or the 2019 one I don't have to complain.
But i've seen other topics too and with you I'm not alone.
when i see people saying they cant feel the road im like what the hell are you on about i can feel every bump, the steering gets heavier under load etc, it just must be how people have it set up, i have my gain in the thrustmaster software to 100 percent and then i adjust the gain in game to my liking.
My ingame settings are 85,30,30,20,15 and understeer enhance off. try it.
I know i had to manually set it in the ffb setting to be working :) since it wasnt set up :)
