Team acclaim bar broken?

When ever i get team acclaim the bar goes backwards? I think it is a glitch though.

Yes I had the same thing happen to me had to start all over from scratch ( I was on 17 and kept going backwards) Now i am dealing with downloading the new drivers and i get no picture just words.

I was looking for an answer to this. I even ran every practice and every event for practice. Made a 100% on each event and it still went backwards? I qualified 1st and won the race and answered all questions to support the acclaim. I dont understand it.

i notice that too, i try best answer i can without hurting other snowflake teams, still go down.
all "no comment" still go down. Try doing all either sportsmanship / showboating answer , still go down.

This was a quote on the codemasters Forum from a member name (Medu)

"Has any of you guys built the marketing upgrade that boosts acclaim?

If so then that is the issue. Instead of adding the +10% acclaim it actually subtracts all acclaim after the facility upgrade.

The only temporary fix is to shut down the marketing facility. Or wait for an update as this issue is already with the devs. "

I upgraded it too... Well in that case its just like real life, its always the PR/marketing people who F up the PR. nice sim. :D

I invested into it heavily in my second season. Im going to try and shut it down and see what happens. It sucks either way, we are losing acclaim for time invested.

Good to know that upgrade is bugged. I was just saving up to buy that upgrade. Now I won't bother till it is patched.

my game works fine and im still on nvidia 442.74 and dont seem to have the problems alot of ppl have been having on NEWER drivers.... ik on f1 2019 i did update to a new driver one day and went to play f1 2019 and would crash about every 30 minutes so reverted back to a good known driver as a test and bingo what do you know no more CTD after 30 minutes of game play... i expect that to be the same issue here as well on f1 2020 which is why i havent updated my drivers yet and probably wont till NVIDIA fix there drivers up fully

mate, are you in the right topic? we are talking about the game function not graphics problems...

And i turn off my marketing department make everyone reductant and go home. Now my team acclaim do go up now.

Yep have the same Problem after i build this upgrade. NICE i can be Rank 20 now. But thx for the Tip i shut down this. Man thats so bad, i have Build 2 Upgrades for Team Activity Boost and that was so helpfull. Now i must shut down the department.

EDIT:

A tip for other Players: Disable the Marketing Department after the Weekly Events are done and bevore the Race Event Starts, so you become the Effect from the Event Bonus Upgrade and still Prevent the Bug from this Department. Oh, and disable it bevore a Invite Event too.
